Physics of Snow - Theory and Practice

The students learn about the physics of snow, in particular the interaction of the snow cover and the atmosphere.

Previous knowledge expected

A basic knowledge of physics, mathematics, meteorology and geosciences is expected.
Skiing or snowboarding skills are required.

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

The students have a profound knowledge of snow physics. They are fit to carry out guided research projects in the field of snow.
