The aims of this lecture series are to aquaint the students with the basic terminology, principles and concepts involved in regional planning. Additionally, the students should become aware of current problems in regional and local development, and understand the responsibilities of regional planners (and the tools available to them for carrying out these responsibilities). They should also learn about the methods and representation techniques used in regional planning.
