The aim of these lectures is to convey to the students
a basic understanding of the process of remote sensing (including aerial photography) as an efficient tool of data acquisition about the environment and
the fundamentals of spatial information systems, GIS modelling of environmental processes and visualisation techniques (independent of any particular hardware or software).
