Discussions, translations, comments and summaries of texts on BOKU-specific subjects.
Exposés: every student needs to submit two exposés.
The first in the winter semester treats a subject of your own choice and shall contribute to a debate or discussion.
The second exposé in the summer semester will consist of a presentation of an aspect in your field of study with a personal comment, a glossary of technical terms used and a bibliography.
Oral communication: a topic of discussion may be proposed by the lecturer as well as by the students and will be prepared in advance by the students who need to collect the relevant information and sources.

The course addresses students who already have a good level of french and want to improve their communication and their comprehension skills of specialist French used prinicpally in the field of agricultural studies. Further, the course covers the socio-cultural context in France and allows us also to practise relevant vocabulary.
