The course will take place at UFT (Tulln) in January 2024: modules by Adam, Svoboda and Wiesenberger will be held interdigitated from January 9 til 19, the fourth part (Wieczorek) on January 23 and 24. For a detailed time schedule please contact gerlinde.wiesenberger@boku.ac.at

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Getting hands on experience and an overview about the scientific fields of the participating groups.

Classical and molecular Fusarium Identification, basic knowledge on mycotoxins and toxicity assays as well as introduction to nematods (Methods: PCR/RT-PCR, Agar diffusion test, reporter genes etc., Fusarium transformation, plant infections)
