Previous knowledge expected

The course requires basic understanding of the scientific foundations of the Bachelor’s program “Environmental Engineering and Water Management”. Successful completion of LVA 875105 "The construction industry and project management" or equivalent knowledge is highly recommended.

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Students will learn to explain, interpret and discuss the following topics:
a) Interrelationships in the construction industry
b) Basics of construction operations and construction works
