Our language course for beginners acquaints the students with the essential grammati-cal structures and the basic vocabulary of Czech. The practical command of the lan-guage is secured by steadily communicating in the foreign language, selective listening comprehension as well as reading and translation exercises. Thus, the students are enabled to actively use Czech as soon as possible and linguistically find their way in everyday situations. To reach this aim, not only authentic material will be utilized, but also several language games.
