Students are able to explain the design concept of the outdoor space regarding constructive, functional, site related and climate-relevant interactions between the building architecture and the adjacent open space. They can discuss specific interactions related to spatial design at different scales. Including usability and access for different user groups, rainwater management, planting design, light and shading. Students are able to discuss qualities of designed spaces, especially in the context of buildings and related open spaces.
