Content of the course is to impart both theoretical and practical knowledge about conceptual planting design. A planting design with reference to a landscape architectural design is executed project-related and by way of examples within the course
- Previous knowledge expected

Basic botanical and plant knowledge regarding species, habitat and vegetation types as well as experience in landscape design are a prerequisite for participation in the course.
- Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Acquired knowledge of graduates include the methods for developing planting concepts and designs. Students are able to independently carry out a planting design in its entire process after completion of the course. Competencies include the implementation of the design proposal into the landscape architectural design with planting plan, plant list, aspect calendar and visualizations
