Content

The purpose of the course is to read and discuss fundamental scientific papers and reports related to transformation pathways to sustainability. A set of papers is provided at the beginning of the course; further papers addressing more specific topics related to transformation pathways can be suggested by students and faculty members. Every participant should read all papers and prepare for the discussion.

Previous knowledge expected

Basic knowledge on sustainability concepts.

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Upon completion of this course the students will have increased their ability to critically review scientific publications. They will be able to identify and report the most important concepts, approaches and results from the scientific papers. Furthermore, they wil be able to address parts they do not fully understand and to formulate discussion questions.
