The overarching purpose of the course is to test and critically discuss the use of AI Tools in literature reviews.
More specifically, the course consists of four parts:
1. Introduction to the course and preparation of assignment 1 (reviewing AI tools)
2. Introduction to the use of AI tools in research by an expert (online)
3. Presentation of results of assignment 1 by students and coursework 2 assignment (applying AI and classic techniques)
4. Workshop with student presentation of assignment 2

Upon completion of this course the students will have increased their ability to critically review scientific publications.
They will be able to choose the appropriate tools and techniques to support them in identifying the most important concepts, approaches and results from scientific papers.
They will have developed a critical view on the technical and ethical issues as well as benefits and limitations of the use of AI in literature review.
