The LMT internship focuses on thermal (heat transfer, drying) and mechanical process engineering (pumps, extrusion, membrane filtration), hygienic design and engineering as well as technical basics and background for the life sciences sector.
This course will be held only in german.

After successful completion of the course the students know specific unit-operations from practical point of view and are able to better understand theoretical correlations. Due to experience gained in working with equipment at pilot scale, the students are able to design simple processes and to link real technical and economical aspects into the concepts. In addition the students are able to search scientific literature and write a scientific protocol.
