Participants will see and discuss problems and possibilities to combine wildlife management and several land-use practices, e.g. forestry and agriculture.
In practical exercises the students will gain insight into possibilities and difficulties regarding data collection in the field.

Prior goal of this excursion is to bring students in direct contact with practice, in an interdisciplinary form as good and instructive as possible. After the excursion the students should be able to identify correlations between wildlife, habitat, forestry, and agriculture and to derive wildlife management recommendations under specific conditions and objectives.
