The students are supposed to identify Austrian birds in the wild by sighting and acoustics.
Learning objective is the recognition and differentiation of features that are necessary for the determination and detection of species in the wild. These include characteristics describe the plumage, habitus, Gewölle, Speiballen, habitat, behavior (vocals, shouts, locomotion, annual and Tagesrythmen, migration, reproduction, etc.).
