Previous knowledge of statistical methods and their application in R are required, these can be obtained in courses like "First Steps with R" (851016) or "Statistics with R" (851309).
- Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

The students should get a basic knowledge about the important aspects and criteria of experimental design and they should become able to do the latter in an optimal way. A number of appropriate methods to evaluate data from those experiments should help the students to give correct answers to the original problems. Of course students should also become familar with the usage of modern statistical software to handle this analysis.
