The students meet regularly to present their projects and new data obtained within their theses in a doctoral student’s seminar. In addition to the supervisors other faculty members will attend the seminar. Therefore, this seminar will also provide a platform to discuss methodological problems within a larger group. Successful participation of a doctoral seminar includes permanent attendance and one presentation of the thesis. During their stay abroad, the students are expected to participate in an equivalent seminar at the respective host institution. All BioproEng students have to pass the doctoral seminars I, II, III (a’ 0.5 ECTS)
