The course starts with the explanation of basic terms and is followed by a brief overview of the chapter measurement of electrical values. After this introduction the course continues with the main streams in data logging, data display and data registration. Nevertheless, most of the time is spent to the measurement of non electrical values. Main topics of these chapter are the measurement of temperature, humidity, water content of solids, gas velocity, presurre, level, flow, mass.
The part control engineering is more an overview. After the explanation of basic terms, the chapter continues with time behavior of control systems, continuous and discontinuous controlling and the different type of controllers. Finally the principals of programmable controllers are discussed.

The content of the lecture ist mainly focused to the field of measurement technology. The chapter control engineering is reported fundamentally. The course Metorology II is focused on automatic control.
After visiting this lecture, the most important chapters of measurement technology should be understood from the practical point of view and the students should be able to solve simple problems by themselves. However the average knowledge is also sufficient for the understanding of more extensive settings of a task and for discussions with experts of relevant companies.
The field control engineering is brought so far that the students are able to understand the basics.
