Content

The Course discusses the relevent European and constitutional legal framework and deals with the various environmental law aspects of industrial installations as regulated in commercial law, legislation against air pollution, water law, forrest law, waste law, nature conservation law and regulation of environmental impact assessment.
The practical application of the knowledge attained can be tried out in the final case study which includes a Moot-Court like simulation of a licensing procedure for an industrial installation.

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

The course adresses students of all disciplines intending to familiarize them with the most important environmental law aspects of industrial installations including relevent case law.
