Content

Regulation of transfer of genetic information, matic systems and their effects on genotypic structures. Breeding programmes, basics of genetic engineering, biotechnology, micropropagation.

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Encreasing the knowledge on genetics and widen the know how in methods. Bringing the students in contact with special problems of population genetics, gene expression and genetic engineering. Developing the ability to build up a personal view on possibilities and threats of the effects of modern genetics on forestry.
