Editing an educational resource and boat excursion

Part A:
Preparation part (approx. 12 working hours): Editing an Educational Resource:
Select Hydrogeological Research from the link http://www.wgm.wien.at/hydrogeologische-forschung and study all sub-chapters (if the link is no longer available, please send an email to Markus Fiebig).

Choose a subsection and create a handout (Word or PDF file with about 2 A4 pages with name and matriculation number, references, all citations marked, errors corrected, etc.). Please print / copy 18 times.
Send the handout (2 pages) from A.) to markus.fiebig@boku.ac.at by 31.05.2024 at the latest.

Part B:
Excursion part: Day excursions on 17.06.24 / 18.06.24 / 21.06.2024 (each at 9 am (start at the cemetery of the nameless at Albern harbor) until max. 7 pm end in Wildungsmauer).
Arrival and departure on your own with your own tickets. Arrival: e.g. Dittmanngasse (close to U3 station Enkplatz) with bus 76A to Alberner Hafen. Return journey from Wildungsmauer back to Vienna e.g. with the REX 7 at 19.20 to the city area.

On the excursions, short presentations on the areas covered (under A) are to be given and the handout distributed.

Participation requires the transfer of a contribution of 25 euros to finance the canoes. Further information on this will be sent out.

The registration in BOKUonline is only valid with the payment.
Previous knowledge expected

Knowledge of the content of the lecture Geology and Geomorpholoy is expected.
Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Students are familiar with the regional geology in the surroundings of Vienna.
