the social significance ( critics vs. proponents , ... )
current problem organisms (phytoplasma in vineyards, cherry fruit fly , ... )
the difference btw. integrated pest management and plant protection in organic farming

Students know the current issues in crop protection and are able to assign their importance. They can scrutinize current media reports critical and are able to assess and evaluate basic relationships.
