Phenotyping and genetic background
Biology of plant growth, productivity and crop-load,
bio-statistics (R);
Plant productivity effects of elevated atmospheric CO2 (climate change),
plant pigments, hydraulic architectue, transpiration and guttation
Stress physiology, allelopathy (abiotic growth factors)

Previous knowledge expected

Bachelor level in agriculture, horticulture, biology (plant sciences).

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

When having finished the course, the student is able to understand and apply basic methods related to horticultural physiology. Passing the practical training course will also allow basic data analyis of experimental results, including critical questioning of the experimental setup and the basics for the interpretation of measurement results. In addition, students are able to acquire independently background knowledge in order to prepare reports and presentations.
