Content

The course takes place in the framework of the now well established international students workshop "City & Traffic": For local urban areas with tangible traffic problems recommendations of solutions have to be provided, presented and mooted. The projects are carried out in blended groups of students and teachers, in total up to 50 persons representing up to 10 different countries. Beside the improvement of the technical knowledge this is a distinguished chance to get to know and to learn about the perspectives of foreign students and teachers and to mingle with them, respectively, during the jointly spent week. Recent areas of activity with participation of the Institute for Tronsport Studies: 1997 Modra (Slovakia), 1999 Klosterneuburg (Austria), 2000 + 2008 Erfurt (Germany), 2001 Banska Stiavnica (Slovakia), 2002 + 2006 + 2014 + 2024 Gyoer (Hungary), 2003 + 2011 + 2019 Cracow (Poland), 2004 + 2010 Maribor (Slowenia), 2005 + 2012 Vilnius (Lithuania), 2007 + 2018 Tulln (Austria), 2009 + 2016 Decin (Czech Republic), 2013 Malacky (Slovakia), 2015 Weimar (Germany), 2017 Beograd (Serbia).

The workshop planned for 2020 had to be cancelled due to COVID19-related restrictions.
The next workshop is scheduled for July 2021 in Maribor (Slovenia).
