During the practice lessons we will exercise mathematical examples of:
1) game theory
2) efficient pollution
3) instruments to reach efficient pollution (common and control, pigou-tax, emission certificates)
4) cost-benefit analysis, multi-criteria analysis

The goal of the lecture is to mediate various concepts and methods in applied Resource and Envrionmental Economics. These fundamentals are important for an efficient resource and environmental management, which is important for dynamic development of our society. At the end of the lecture, students should be able to recognize and describe resource and environmental problems, to derive relevant research questions and to use appropriate tools in a way that consistent solution strategies can be offered for a spectrum of societal challenges.
