Theoretical background and practice of differential diagnosis of biotic and abiotic damage of forest trees: symptomatology, collection, transport and storage of specimens; pathogenic micro-organisms, parasitic flowering plants, insects, mites, abiotic and anthropogenic damages.

Basic skills in differential diagnosis of biotic and abiotic damage of forest trees. Recognizing and evaluating signs and symptoms of diseases, understanding pathological processes, ability to determine the causal agent responsible for the damage.
