Content

The project topics are based on ongoing research projects of the participating institutes.

The main focus of the project topics is to identify and analyze the impact of agricultural management and/or climate change on biodiversity.

For this purpose, either data are collected by the students in the field or existing data sets are used.

The aim is to produce an independent scientific paper, starting with the development of relevant questions, survey methods, evaluation methods (statistics), up to the presentation of the results and their interpretation.

Any field studies will take place in and around Vienna.

Previous knowledge expected

Some expertise in determining plant or animal species

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Acquisition of the competence to grasp and analyze the phenomenon of biodiversity according to its diversity.
