It is required to actively participate two times to complete the course. 1) Presentation of thesis project (e.g. as Poster presentation), 2) Presentation of Results (usually an oral presentation, 15-20 min).
In the Winter semester, the course takes place within the framework of the Institutes seminars to allow for more topic specific discussions. Please discuss your presentation dates and modes until 12.10.2018 with your supervisor.
Specific to the ongoing diploma research, special emphasis is put on critical reviews of the relevant scientific literature.

Instruction in scientific research, discussion of methods and ongoing work of diploma students, discussion of new publications, practice in oral presentation of scientific results at seminary lectures, planning and co-ordination of field work.
