The course is splitted into lecture units and practical exercises.
LECTURE PART (6 lectures):
Provides information about planning, designing and management of recreation infrastructure in the landscape.
For example planning of hiking trails, picnic sites, camping sites, toilets, interpretation trails, way-finding infrastructure, viewing tours, bridges etc. and the integration of the ROS (Recreation Opportunity Spectrum) framework.
A successful completion of the course requires the attendance of at least three lecture units.
EXERCISE PART:
Knowledge gained in the lecture units will be practically applied in the exercises. Tasks include both group and individual work.
