Occupation with the technical aspects of structural maintenance and intervention in existing constructions. The technical focus of the lesson lies in the discipline of the engineer sciences with main emphasis in structural engineering, extended to subjects from the areas of structural design, building physics and materials, restoration and construction history. Objects of study are high-rise buildings and civil engineer structures as well as infrastructure plants dating from middle historical eras to the present day.
