Understanding functioning of riverine ecosystems requires integrative perspectives including the coupling of aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. The objective of this course is to integrate perspectives of PhD students of different disciplines in order to complement existing knowledge with fundamental principles of riverine landscape ecology.
