Concept of strain and stresses, recognized occupational diseases, physiology, workstations, Stress and RSI, job design, team work, working time schemes and wages including collective agreements, job qualifications, time management, accidents – development and frequency depending on working processes, accident analysis, health and safety at work

Ergonomics is based on elements coming from medicine, psychology and technique. Students will be able to measure, analyze and interpret forest work related strains and stresses. They can create efficient and safe work systems, that will support personal development of the workers. Students will gain an insight into occupational health and safety systems and accident analyses. They will know the use of personal protective equipment.
