Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Familiarity with basic notions of natural resource economics regarding the intergenerational-efficient allocation of renewable resources in market economies. In particular, the trade-off between economic growth and natural resource sustainability is addressed. Moreover, main practical methods of valuing non-marketed natural resources are presented focusing especially on resource oriented macroeconomic accounting with respect to energy and climate policy.
