The students will be able to identify and recognice the most important rock forming minerals
They will know to use simple tests and characteristic featchers to identify the minerals
Participants will be able to identify and recognice the most important rocks and understand their properties and technical use
Weathering properties and weathering products of rocks will be known and understood
How is the influence of rock type and weathering to soil forming processes
Which rocks can we find in Austria
