New challenges and topics of wildlife research; presentation and discussion of research fields and projects, including those on wildlife management and wildlife monitoring
Students present the content of a current paper in 15 minutes. Background, research questions, methods, results and discussion are reviewed and discussed afterwards in the group.

Previous knowledge in wildlife ecology and management, as well as in common methods, at the level of advanced master students.
- Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Students passing the seminar are capable to judge scientific quality of wildlife research. They know criteria for standardized, transparent and representative scientific work. Students are able to analyse the quality of published data and know quality thresholds for scientific publications. In addition, students are able to collect scientific literature from various sources, know how to reduce scientific findings to the main outline and have improved skills to present scientific data.
