The students are able based on fundamentals of agrophysics to understand and evaluate agricultural process parameters.

- Revision of the most important units and engineering standards
- Fundamentals of mechanics
- Fundamentals of combustion engines, hydromechanics/hydraulics, clutches, gearing mechanisms and electrical machines
- Fundamentals of measurement and control systems, sensor and communication technologies in the context of precision farming
- Insight in technologies for cultivation, seeding and harvesting of grassland, cereals and root crops
