The course provides an understanding of the nature and potential applications of classic, hybrid, and agile projects, as well as comprehensive knowledge of the planning, execution, and control of these projects. Students learn key factors and techniques for effective project management. Through group work, in which concrete project ideas are planned, students gain practical experience in teamwork and develop creative and conceptual skills.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to
• describe the evolution of project management and identify types of integration into existing organizations,
• evaluate and standardize projects for project suitability,
• make selection decisions between classic, hybrid, and agile project management approaches,
• apply project selection procedures and project management fundamentals,
• define project objectives and formulate precise project tasks,
• plan and implement project communication,
• apply project planning procedures in both classic and agile contexts,
• participate in the realization of projects,
• evaluate project management documents and processes,
• apply recruitment strategies for project teams,
• apply the principles of risk management,
• respond appropriately to conflict and motivation crises,
• conduct project reviews and secure lessons learned, and
• overcome challenges in the project closeout phase.
