Timber harvesting: Tree processing with harvester and chain saw, ground based extraction methods, cable based extraction methods, helicopter logging, harvesting systems, timber supply chains, logistics, cost calculations, damage to the soil, remaining stand and natural regeneration, decision support tools

Ergonomics and work place design: job evaluation, working safety, time studies
