(Interdisciplinary) Project including planning or constructive components
.
Nature of the work:
Project work on a selectable topic in the field of KTWW. A planning - structural component must be included (design, planning, plan presentation, calculation, dimensioning etc.).
The task is specified by the supervisor. Choice of processing method(s) and data research are part of the project work and are not specified by the supervisor(s).
Unlike a seminar work or master's thesis, the constructive project is not a scientific work.
The constructive project is carried out as group work. We recommend groups of 2 students (maximum 3 students per group).
The constructive project can also be offered interdisciplinary (2 supervisors from different areas of KTWW) . In case of interdisciplinary orientation there is a supervisor for each area, where one of those supervisors will be the main-supervisor and cordinate the work in regards with the other supervisor's decision.
The conditions for participation in the course will be set by the supervisor (in case of an interdisciplinary project by the main-supervisor). This determination can be carried out in regards of attended lectures out of the various areas/elective lectures-blocks or from gained knowledge of the completed bachelor programme.
The completion of the course constitutes a final colloquium with the supervisor(s) and a presentation of the work within a course of the supervising institute (department) - preferably seminars of master's thesis seminar.
