(A) Participatory planning: stakeholders involved, planning and sequence of participation processes, participation instruments, barriers and factors of success;
(B) Principles of mediation (in the public sector), methods and factors of success in mediation;
(C) Seminar paper: summary of the course and elaboration of a case study.

Recommended (no mandatory) prerequisite: visit of LV 856 301 "Strategic planning and integrated project management"

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

to convey the underlying ideas and skills for communication in the context of planning processes through practical tasks being elaborated in individual and group work
