Content

Support in the implementation of a compulsory internship. Integration of the compulsory internship into the academic education by means of exchange and discussion of practical experiences and superordinate study-relevant contents. Guidelines for the organisation and implementation of the compulsory internship as well as for the written internship report and the final presentation.

Experience shows that the internship is usually completed during the summer holidays. The course runs over the summer and winter semester - the official start is in spring. The course concludes at the end of the year or at the end of the winter semester with a practical gardening day.

Attendance at the practical seminar is compulsory at the beginning of the summer semester before carrying out the practical!
At the beginning of the winter semester there is a second obligatory interim meeting. Individual supervision appointments are then arranged during the winter semester to discuss the practical report and to prepare the final presentation as part of the garden practical day.

Previous knowledge expected

Independent scientific work and presentation

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

The students approach the implementation of compulsory practice in a prepared and structured manner. They are able to position the experiences gained in the practical period professionally and to prepare and pass them on according to a science seminar.
