-
Project-oriented work in the laboratory in small groups; 1) formulation of problem and hypotheses (e.g. effect of flooding on soil chemical processes); 2) selection of suitable methods to solve the problem; 3) conduct experiments and learn fundamental and specific lab methods of soil chemistry; 4) computer-based data management, calculation of results; 5) joint interpretation of results; 6) presentation of final results in scientific way.
- Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)
-
To deepen the knowledge about analytical methods in soil chemistry and about chemical processes in the soil by planning, conducting and presenting lab based experiments. Introduction into theoretical background of sorption processes in soils and intermolecular interactions.
