Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Goal of the course is the knowledge of different types of protection measures, the ability to select the right measures in dependence of local particular situations.
Basic knowledge of snow and its behaviour and mechanical characteristics, basic knowledge in avalanche and snow dynamics;
Goal is also the ability to plan, to dimension and implement protection measures, to assess the effect and the rest risk of measures.
