1. Theory:

a) Introduction into organic farming in Austria
b) Organic farming, protection of climate, species and biotope diversity
c) Organic farming, water and soil protection

2. Practical Implementation:

e) Writing a seminar work on selected topics of organic farming related to the protection of natural resources in small groups
f) Presenting the seminar work (Poster presentation)

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

- Being able to recognize and analyze relationships between land management and protection of natural resources (soil, water, air, species and biotope diversity);

- Being able to describe the significance of organic farming for protection of natural resources;

- Apply basic knowledge
