advanced in life sciecne studies

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

By the end of the study the students will

- be able to discuss different topics in the area of protein trafficking in the early secretory pathway
- be familiar with different concepts of protein trafficking and secretion
- be aware of processes that take place in the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi apparatus
- understand mechanisms of cargo transport and protein organisation in different subcellular compartments
- will understand the importance of sub- compartmentation for biological processes
