The seminar is, for instance, offered to the students of the "Mountain Forestry" curriculum. In the seminar, the students work on topical essays, e.g. understanding of risk in mountain forests, comparison of national policies, fire prevention policies in mountain forests, etc. Special interest of the students will be considered. A special focus is given on international aspects of mountain forestry, e.g. aspects of development cooperation or forestry in different continents, etc.

The students shall deepen knowledge and understanding of forest policies and policies for natural hazards prevention in mountain areas.
