Research and/or application orientated projects, which are developed in co-operation with the students.
Collecting, processing, analysing, and representing spatial data.
Deepening use of software (Different programs and modules; Expert functions of ArcGISPro and/or QGIS, etc.)
Within a defined subject area, we formulate themes for processing in small groups.
We are using different GIS- related programs in a flexible way for solving spatial questions and problems.

- Previous knowledge expected

GIS basics are implicitly necessary!
-> Effective participation at "Fundamentals of GIS in landscape planning" (853.105) or equivalent experience!
* Skills in working with PCs as well as with MS Office software and image processing software.
* Basics in Landscape Ecology and related issues.
* ability and wilingness to deal with english literature.
