Content

The lecture has two parts: the one focusses on human sensory perception and the other one on consumer behavior. In the sensory science part we deal with the physiological basis of senses, psychophysiological foundations, principles of hedonics and there will be a focus on methods of sensory science. The nutritional psychology part deals with consumer behavior in the supermarket and the restaurant and also regulation mechanisms of the amount of nutrients and problematic drinking behavior will be discussed.

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Students of this lecture are able to classify and analyse sensory and nutrional psychological problems and based on the gained konweldge they are able to develop solutions usind appropriate methods.
