Implementation of the nature protection aims depends strongly on the availability of public funds. The goals of the lecture are imparting practical knowledge about existing granting programs and exercising a smart and professional handling of grant application. The lecture refers in special to programs of the European Union (LIFE+, rural development, structural funds), because they are the financially strongest granting offers in Austria.

Part 1: Grant programs in interaction with the world market and other economic influencing factors
Part 2: The European EU funds (2007-2013), which have a relevant reference to “landscape development and landscape protection”
Part 3: Programs which are referring to management and implementation in Natura 2000 habitats.
Part 4: Key factors for a successful application
