Content

Methods of diagnosis of phytopathogenic organisms. Biology and epidemiology of important diseases of vegetables, ornamentals, fruits and grape-vine. Diagnosis of symptoms caused by viruses bacterials, fungi and non-parasitic damages. Requirements of plant diseases. Compatible and non-compatible host-pathogen-interactions. Economical damage thresholds and forcaste-models. Mode of action of plant protection products and their side effects. Aspects of biological and integrated crop protection. Examples of diseases on vegetables and ornamentals.
