Lectures:Principles of electrofishing methods; Electrofishing sampling strategies in the field, safety considerations; fish marking techniques (visible implant, radio tagging,…); fish traps, different types and applications;
Field exercise: electrofishing by wading (small creeks or rivers); electrofishing by boat(medium or large rivers); electrofishing by boat pt.2 (medium or large backwaters/lakes) + electrofishing by wading pt.2 (small backwaters); additional sampling methods pt.1 (various net gear) + additional sampling methods pt.2 (other gear)
