- Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)
-
Students will understand the goals and constraints for protected areas in Central Europe as they pertain to wildlife management. They will also understand how these goals interact with other concerns held by stakeholders working in the region, and how management can address these concerns.
Students will be able to critically examine and develop examples where such concerns are addressed and the approaches to overcome them. They will also understand the conditions for integrating these approaches to manage and conserve wildlife within and between protected areas.
